The Canon Quest is a reading-tracker app. This policy describes, plainly, what happens to your information when you use it.
Nothing. The Canon Quest does not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal information, reading data, notes, or usage activity. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking of any kind built into the app.
Everything you enter — your reading progress, notes, ratings, and reflections — is stored locally on your device only, using Apple's standard on-device storage. It is never sent to us or to any server we control. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.
The app loads its typefaces from Google Fonts' content delivery network when the app runs. This is a standard web font request; Google may log standard technical information (such as IP address) as part of serving that request, under Google's own privacy policy. We do not send Google, or anyone else, any of your reading data, notes, or personal information.
The Canon Quest does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all.
If The Canon Quest adds features that change what data the app collects or how it's handled — such as user accounts, in-app purchases, or analytics — this page will be updated to reflect that before those features go live.
